Yup. That was business. Bob knew that was always a possibility because it was in his contract. Cotto promised Arum he'd finish his career with him. A better deal came around and Cotto tooki it. Can't blame him. But he trashed Bob on his way out the door when there was no need to do that. All he had to do was ask Bob if he could match the offer. If Bob said he couldn't then Cotto leaves. He wasn't signed to TR he was doing a fight by fight basis. Cotto had no complaints about TR until he signed that Roc Nation contract. There was no need to bash TR and Bob on his way out.

Arum might not like Cotto but he'll recognize that he is still a draw (especially at Madison Square Garden) and that there is money to be made there.

I'd like to see it I'd bet on Cotto though.

This would be good but I think Mr.Cotto will need to bring his old pressing attitude back to the fight to beat Timothy Bradley I can't see him beating Bradley on the backfoot but there is the chance Cotto could hurt Timmeh.

Good little match up but Bradley needs to move to 154 for it, definite PPV worthy fight there.

They'll probably create a 152 division so they could set up the match.

I'd rather see Bradley vs Brook at 147

I don't really know who Cotto can fight at 154 without looking like some sort of glorified gatekeeper.

He should probably just retire. He's had a great career and ended it against a young future star without getting beaten up or disgracing himself. Good way to end.

Bradley does still have some good fights available for him at 147, like Brook.

But I don't know if they could bring him as much money as Cotto so that might prove tempting to Tim.

i agree a brook fight would be great. Goodness knows if we ever get to see khan brook or if theres even an appetite for it any more, but I'd like to see TB go at it against other WW champions. Prime time for unifications and fighting for vacated mayweather belts.

He said that Cotto was dead to him, never going to work with him ever again.
