Canelo got a draw score with floyd

Canelo gets some favoritism from the judges no doubt. He's got some history with this.

I thought all the cards were off tonight, 11-1, 10-2 & 9-3. The 9-3 is actually not far from the 7-5 one way or the other & 8-4 Canelo cards I've seen people have, but the 11-1 card seems nuts to me & the 10-2 card does to.

One judge had him up 9-3 vs Lara which seems nuts to me in that close fight.

One judge had him even with Mayweather which is 125% nuts in that wide fight. Another had him 4-8 & while a lil wide from my own take I suppose its within a reasonable persons opinion to have that score.

One judge had him up 10-2 (+ a KD) vs Trout in a fight I felt was close.

If the fight with GGG does go down, lucky for GGG he's not usually one to let the judges decide things. If he can't KO Canelo I feel like there is a solid chance he's coming up short on the judges card unless he beats him from pillar to post w/o stopping him.

The Trout fight shows how much favoritism he gets. I thought he beat Trout but that fight had open scoring so we saw in real time the judges giving Canelo rds that Trout had clearly won. But it was also in Texas so....

All.these politic moves are killing boxing. The needed cottos name on canelos resume to make.him a cash cow. Research the fight cotto wins the first 4 and they score it 3-1 canelo which is bullcrap. If cotto won the first 4 no way he lost the next 8. It was a draw in my book. Plus u have to clear beat the champ and I don't think that happend. Cottos face cuts and bruises from light punchers and canelo did no.damage until he cut cotto in the 12. I'm almost to the point where I wanna say f'you to boxing. At least all.this doesn't happen in ufc

but cotto wasn't the champ. he gave up his belt to duck ggg. he never was the champ in reality. he fought a crippled martinez at 159 not 160. how do you win a lineage at a catch weight?

He definitely has power on the cards thanks to Oscar. If he didn't completely fail in the Floyd fight chances are he would have won even if he only took four rounds.

Yep if they were to have a rematch, I expect canelo to win a decision

If Cotto actually pressed the action more then maybe fact remains Lara did a better job in his fight than Cotto, I don't see why Cotto and Roach thought they could utilize that similar plan and do better than the guy who is an Olympic gold medalist seems a bit ****** to me.
