Is Canelo backed in to a corner now to fight GGG?
Where else can he turn really for the next big fight. There's nobody at 154 that brings him a big fight. Nobody else at 160 apart from GGG.
Unless Floyd comes out of retirement or they try to con people with a Cotto rematch, i can't see where else he can go.

Canelo probably won by 2 rounds at most...I think the judges were way off and I think it was a passing of the torch kind of thing and it probably didn't help cotto that he was stripped of the title....belts go hand in hand with champions and doing what cotto did probably sealed his fate with the judges....cotto will retire and he has nothing left to give.....canelo on the other hand has fast hands and great punch placement but he moves like he is stuck in mud....slow feet and ponderous .....golovkin will murder him if they fight

I had the fight a draw. Or 7-5 Canelo. Cotto was taking more visible damage.
The fight was a farce when those scorecards were announced. Being a boxing judge must be the easiest job in the world. Get paid to fill out a card before watching a fight.

Canelo got it. Fewer solid punches and effective aggression takes it over superior footwork and higher punch rate of lighte rpunches.
The scores were waaaaay too wide. 115-113 or 116-112 max. I was worog about the stoppage - Canelo's footwork was too slow and Cotto's too fast. Just put's Pac's victory into better perspective.
