Agreed, most likely the agreement is a certain amount per fight for a given number of fights that would total a payout of $10 mil. I doubt its an agreement to pay Rigo $10 mil no matter who he fights or how many fights he has.

Even then it'd be a huge risk for Roc, but I'm happy that this might mean a stronger push for good fights involving Rigo.

Oscar and Bernard are doing fine.

Are you seeing Jay-z on the media tours talking to media about boxing? no not really. He's basically just a glorified sponsor. He's not running the promotional company.

Business is a gamble at the end of the day. If it is $10 million over 4 or 5 fights and one of those fights is a big money fight against Quigg or Frampton, and then one of the big names at featherweight then he might get a good return on investment if he is only committed to paying the guarantee.

I have trouble buying this unless its a 5(+) year, 2M(or less)/yr type contract best case & idk that I'd even wanna sign Rigo for that long when he's 35 already.

                Source or details on this?

doesnt matter. As the lead promoter he has a vested interest in how many buys the event does, and not taking advantage of millions of followers who read his every word is just ******.

If true, it'd be like the Andre Ward deal where RN is on the hook for the full guarantee and HBO only gives them a fraction of that amount.

Perhaps. Don't really care about it.

I just doubt how much Jayz is personally involved in it.
