Hard to call Crolla average in my opinion. He's quite good at what he does. Obviously technique isn't his strongest point, but his work rate is second to none. I've become a fan of him as of late.

Joshua vs Whyte is a heavyweight fight, plus it has Anthony Joshua.

Crolla vs Mitchell is a good chief support to a PPV fight ala Mitchell vs Linares - Though that was a much better fight quality wise and fight of the year for me.

Their beef is pretty much Haymon/Arum level over especially with the rival tv channels (Sky/BoxNation).

On the plus side I hope its Luke Campbell who gets a shot he will annihilate Crolla.
        Why? Perez is completely average.

I expected Crolla to win the first fight as well and always felt Crolla would win this as well.

It was a good body shot. Plenty of fights have ended exactly the same way, with similar reactions from a well placed body shot by a guy who isn't a big puncher. It happens. Watch more boxing.
Just like Mlac said, typical ****** can't take a debate without crying like a little girl.

Fact is compare that to many of legitimate body shot KO's, Gamboa isn't KOing this guy and all of a sudden Crolla who is near on par with Paulie Malinaggi with the power game is making someone go on the ground and not even try to get up.
I think you should heed your own advice.

I definitely also felt like Perez bottled it.

That was my first reaction. Don't get me wrong, the shot was sunk in well and it was good.

But you see proper body shots landed on guys who are whinging badly. I felt Perez knew it wasn't his night.

the way he immediately shook his head was telling. i know everyone's different but i reckon he could have got up. maybe he would have gone down again shortly though...

Yeah, it looked like Oscar vs Hopkins.

I mean, you've seen guys like Arturo Gatti getting hit with proper body shots, round 9 in the first fight comes to mind. And there was no doubt he took a massive hit, it was all over his face.

I don't blame Perez. He was getting beaten in all departments as it was, but it just looked like he could have gotten up.

But obviously I wasn't the one taking the punch.

Whether Perez bottled it or not wasn't the argument though. Only he knows if he did or not.

What that clown was trying to argue is that he was paid by Hearn to get stopped. But that doesn't explain why the first fight wasn't fixed lol....some people on this site are laughable.

Perez either got knocked out or he quit cos he didn't fancy it.

                    Perez wanted out IMO.

That was a chance to quit and I think he took it.
