Sources in Philadelphia have advised BoxingScene.com that a welterweight showdown between former champions Robert "The Ghost" Guerrero (33-3-1, 18KOs) and Danny "Swift" Garcia (31-0, 18KOs) is being targeted for January 23rd, as the headliner of the Premier Boxing Champions debut card on FOX. The event will take in place in New York City or Los Angeles.

Guerrero was last seen in ring back in June, when he got off the floor in the fourth round to win a tough ten round split decision at the StubHub Center in Carsonm, California. Martinez would go on in his next fight to upset two-division champion Devon Alexander.
