We should give credit to Al Haymon for bringing boxing back to regular TV

Countless times over the years I've heard people say they don't follow boxing because it's mostly PPV.

But now, we have fights on multiple cable stations: Spike, NBC, CBS, Fox, etc. Not just on occasional Fridays and Saturdays, but on Tuesdays and Thursdays as well.

Instead of complaining about the quality of the match ups, we should be thankful to have a lot of boxing on TV.

And recently, the match ups have been getting better, with good ones currently on the schedule!

i agree wholeheartedly,i think (and hope) that when everything gets put in proper placement, the quality and the amount of fights per card grows

im all for great fights, but even more for great fights with STACKED cards

haymon has the stable. im hearing the upcoming thuryman vs porter fight early next year will be stacked

People say "I don't watch boxing because it PPV"

Now I can reply "It's now on Spike, Fox, NBC, CBS, etc"

Problem is matchmaking. Too many of them I'd rather they show 2 prospects going at it than quillin vs that zarafa
          Haymon needs to hire schafer

Some good matchups coming up, Thurman-Porter for example.

I agree, PBC could use Schafer's assistance;what he did with GBP was awesome.

PBC will likely win Fight of the Year for Huck vs Glowacki.

And their recent broadcast of Edwin Rodriguez vs Michael Seals is a strong contender too. Not to mention Andre Dirrell vs James Degale.

Not too shabby for their first year.
