Then Gi GI can have his WBC belt and become the mega stuper star.
because there's been a mando due since back when Martinez was still champ.

    1. Martinez paid Rubio step aside to allow the cotto fight

    2. After Cotto beat Martinez, the WBC allowed Cotto to delay the Rubio mando and try and negotiate with Canelo. That first set of negotiations ended with canelo walking away

    3. in the meantime, GGG beat Rubio and took his mandatory spot.

    4. Cotto still didnt want to do his mando, electing instead to fight Geale

    5. After Geale, Cotto (STILL not wanting to do his mando) chooses to pay ggg step aside money to allow the canelo fight.

cotto has benefitted several times by the wbc mando being pushed back, so lets not act like he's some kind of victim here

Is that how GGG got the mandatory by beating Rubio? I can't keep up with all this corrupt alphabet bs.

Can you finders keepers a mandatory sport by beating the mandatory spot guy? Don't recall hearing of that before, but then again usually when guys got a mandatory they sit on it or fight bs guys & not cats like GGG.

well, technically it was the "interim champion guy", which basically amounts to the "mandatory guy", because an interim champ always trumps other ranked contenders when a mando is due

so when GGG sparked Rubio, he became the "interim champion guy"

bottom line is all of this could have been avoided had Cotto simply done the mando with Rubio way back when.......

haha im no rubio fan either, but he was the mando, like it or not. Sometimes, ya gotta deal with a garbage mando. Kovalev just had to fight that Mohammedi clown, and remember when Hops had to fight that Hakkar guy. That was awful....

and pretty soon GGG will have to deal with his IBF mando in Tureano Johnson. Of course I'll watch it, but Im not real excited about it......

Yeah, I'm ok win mando's but if the guy is irrlevant like Rubio than **** him. Especially if they're trying to make a big fight like cotto canelo.
