    Lol, what a crap fight...

I can understand why people were complaining about this PPV now, I mean less than a month to this event and we're still awaiting on opponents being matched?
Absolutely pathetic excuse of an event Eddie Hearn can go do one, I'm not paying £15 to watch it I'll find another way.

I also thought Linares should have been ahead on the cards, Linares is the champ afterall and I thought his work overall was better than Kevin's.
Thank god for Linares screwing up KM eye and stopping him.

Clearly he doesn't know boxing! Mitchell was winning a close fight, if it wasnt for the eye he would have won

I had Linares up but it was a close fight and Mitchell had him down.

That guy makes it seem as if all close fights were robberies just because they weren't in Fat Yanksville.

WOW, woah man that's big numbers I mean like more than Froch and Groves one, and Froch at home isn't it. I guess he tapped into the football fan base as you say, it's a UK thing isn't it to appeal to the soccer fans, good marketing really I guess but these can be only considered casuals can't they.

I take it Mitchell would never headline a card now surely, I saw the Burns vs Katsidis and Burns vs Mithcell fights, thoroughly enjoyed both but I have never recognised the Londoner as talented.

Will be interesting to see if Frank Warren follows through with his promise of doing a purse bid against Matchroom for that fight.
For him to be fighting for another title is a joke.

Interesting fight. Mitchell was destroyed by Ricky Burns and Michael Katsidis in his first two world title challenges, but he did a lot better against Jorge Linares... But just fell short. Mitchell needs to box on the outside and break Barroso down. If he gets into a fire fight Barroso will take him out. Mitchell has faced far better opposition and should get a late TKO. If Crolla and Mitchell win, that would set up an interesting clash that would be pretty big in the UK.

I agree... I like all the fights so far... But to have it on PPV is a joke.. Especially when majority of Hearn/Sky cards this year have been awful, any half decent ones get flung on PPV

This is for the WBA Interim that Derry vacated. Warren said he is being moved toward a major World tile fight (Flanagan duh). Eddie on the other end said winners of Crolla-Perez and this fight each other.

Barroso looks to have good power in both hands ,K. will have to box clever.

No, Flanagan is defending the WBO belt against Derry Mathews early next year. If Mitchell wins the WBA interim title, the winner of the Perez vs Crolla rematch must defend the WBA world title against Mitchell within 90 days of Mitchell's bout
