Interesting match up but I don't see it happening. Too risky of a match up for Cotto. He already didnt look good against a slick southpaw in Trout, and Lara is that but better. Cotto would be better off fighting GGG, theres more money in that fight.

After this, win or lose, cotto has 1 or 2 fights left. Maybe RN allows it on a NBC or FOX to mend some fences for Ward and Rigo. Lara looks good next weds and i dont mind. Whether Cotto wins or loses honestly. Good fight.

There's absolutely no reason for Cotto to take that fight. I can't imagine it would be the largest financial offer he'd have after this fight, win or lose. He'd also probably lose and even if he won, it would be a damn difficult fight.

And I'm SURE that if he asks nicely enough, the WBA will just give him a title at 154 or 160.
