  • Freddie Roach "Khan definitely in the running", "tough & dangerous fight for Manny"

Roach keeping it real, Live Interview on Sky Sports

    Source: http://www.skysports.com/watch/video...ther-for-cotto

"Khan and Bradley, in the picture... Khan definitely in the running".

"We haven't made a decision yet"

"I watched them (Khan and Manny) box in the gym together a little bit, and you know...Amir is a great athlete and has great speed, Manny is a great athlete and has great speed also"

"It would be a tough fight, but it would be a great fight to watch"

"I love making fights that the people want to see"..."he Khan is definitely in the running"

"It is a dangerous fight for Pacquiao,
its the new generation coming up now, and we have been offered.."

"To show the World that we are still a Top Contender, we would have to beat somebody like Khan"..."a good win like that, we can get Mayweather back in the picture".

and to top it all off !!!!!!!!!!!!!!11

Freddie ends with.... "We need a big win like Amir Khan"

So this interview takes places hours after Khan tweets he is back in the ring, early next year. Freddie and Manny are clearly looking like they want that Mayweather rematch, and would need a fighter with a name to secure that rematch...

Is Khan back in the running?

I can't see Roach risking that fight, he knows a prime Khan could make Pacquiao and Floyd look silly at this point past their primes. Khan would make them both look practically like B-level fighters. I can guarantee that behind-the-scenes Roach is doing all he can to prevent the Khan fight from happening just like Floyd Sr did everything in his power to prevent Floyd from facing Khan.

People still act like Khan is an elite fighter, despite all the evidence to the contrary.

The ONLY reason he's even seen as competitive against Floyd and Manny is because they're past their best. He has no chance whatsoever against a prime Floyd or Manny.

So many conflicting reports. Couple of days ago Freddie said "Khan would run so it would be boring", he knows Khan is a tough style and is using the boring excuse. When has Khan ever been in a zzzz fest.

When Khan fights a fighter in their prime, he doesn't look so good. You can see that in his fights against Garcia, Prescott, Peterson, and Algieri.

What the hell are you smoking? Did you see Khan vs Algieri? The light hitting jr welter with NO amateur experience rocked Khan, and many thought he deserved the win. Pacquiao throttled Algieri. You are as delusional as Khan is. OMFG!

Kahn fans scrambling to restore his credibility and hoping people will forget that Algeri, of all people, rocked him.

While I dislike Amir and have little faith in his abilities him vs manny would be a stylistically intriguing match imo

"Amir beat the s**t out of him for four rounds in the last session before we started easing off the training," Roach said. "Even Manny knows that and he said so." JUST GOING TO LEAVE THIS HERE
