Hahaha!!! I was thinkin the exact same thing! B-Hop just sputterin out anything hoping he somehow wills his way to make a good point. Nobody gives a damn about whether or not its a title fight , they're mad cause Cotto found a way to keep some extra money in his pocket

Why is everyone applauding Cotto for breaking an agreement and making DLH/Canelo to pay extra? Obviously some kind if agreement (maybe informal) existed since GBP looked surprised by this move. So breaking his word is now commendable thing to do...

I didn't say it was commendable but it's not illegal either. Nor did I applaud Cotto, seems like you been reading other ppls quotes but replying to mine.

That being said, if you look in the history of promoters and fighters, the promoters have in most cases got the better of the fighter. Cotto has given plenty to the sport of boxing and for him to get over for a change doesn't bother me.

The same way DLH broke his agreement and refused to pay sanctioning fees? What proof do you have that GBP paid extra?

Otherwise WBC would not sanction it. And WBC stated that if Canelo wins, he will be recognized by WBC as a champion. And since there is no cries from GGG camp that an agreement with them is broken about stepping aside for Cotto-Canelo, it is logical to assume that GGG got his share. If Cotto did not pay, then who did?

GBP paid what they agreed to pay. What extra fees did they incur by Miguel deciding not to pay?
