why do people believe pure boxers can't Street Fight...

It only takes one accurate punch to KO someone.....most of these boxing guys grew up street fighting and younger ages...one timely punch right to the jaw and booooooooommmm your Knock the F out...

PS these guys are athletes they won't get tired after 4 swings in a street fight. ...

If you train in and are proficient at a fighting art....it gives you an edge against joe schmoes . Boxing is indeed a fighting art.

Why do people keep talking about taking something into the streets that is design for the ring. Thats like saying how would a soccer player do in a street fight using his/her feet. Who cares. How does soccer effectiveness in the street matter what is done the soccer field?

Roberto Duran said he had thousands of street fights as a boy selling newspapers and fighting for the best corner. Frank DePaula, a light heavyweight contender who lost to **** Tiger said he knocked out about 1000 guys in street fights. Kimbo Slice, a very average heavyweight boxer has won dozens of street fights over neighborhood street fighting champs. He taped many of these fights and they are real fights. He slaughters these guys using nothing but standard boxing punches. He also won his share of pro MMA fights again using only boxing blows. He knocked out famous MMA fighter Ken Shamrock. Imagine what bare knuckle punches from Tyson, Foreman,Wlad and other big punching heavyweights would do to street fighters. Many boxers won a bunch of street fights before they started boxing. Does anybody believe a smart mouth like Broner wasn't in his share of street fights?

well the aim of soccer players is not to knock the other guy out right?
boxing and street fighting both have the intention to hurt, yea?
