i remember in 2010 when everyone was saying floyd ducked pac. he proved them wrong by fighting pac in 215 after several losses and a ko loss.

maybe floyd will fight marg in 2016 to show he wasn't ducking him in 2006?

Floyd turned down Vivian Harris for Henry Bruseles. Main Events offered Floyd a bigger payday against Gatti if he fought Harris first. So why back out of the Harris fight only to fight Bruseles?

Floyd took the Baldomir fight, he could've easily fought Margarito after, offering Toney the same purse as he gave Baldomir. It would've added more leverage for him going into the Dela Hoya fight.

Sorry that doesn't refute what I said. Go back and read slowly. I know you can do it.

          simply put....

          1) fighting the man that beat the man(Baldomir) is greater than beating the hypejob Arum made because you left his company(Margarito)....In the 2000s the WBO meant close to nothing and Margo hadn't done much and also lost to Williams in 07

          2) Fighting Hatton and DLH in 07>than fighting Harris and Margo 07

3)Margarito lost to prospect paul Williams in 2007, no momentum while Floyd was beating and fighting better more established fighters

4)Margo and Harris will be footnotes and Hatton and ODLH will both be in the hall before the end of this decade

5)How can you be ducking someone when you are fighting better fighter for bigger money and legit titles......There were 2 wba belts even back then and the wbo meant nothing.

Now don't be a revisionist - Floyd didn't turn down Vivian Harris '07, it was late '04 early '05. He fought Henry Bruseles in Jan '05. Main Events guaranteed him a shot at Gatti for more money than if he went the eliminator route. And yet Floyd chose to go the eliminator route for less money........

bro...neither guy enhances his resume...then or now....they wouldn't even be top ten wins for him...they were not that good...dude has beaten over 20 champions and 11 of them were lineal and half a dozen hall of famers...Vivian harris wasn't that good nor was Margarito...the truth always comes to light....having hype doesn't make you good as your hype....ask ronda
