I don't think there should be a rehydration clause anyway. I doubt you would be waving your pom poms for it if Golovkin asked Ward for one.

For some reason Rigo is allowed to play these games without getting criticised.
There isnt anything coming up when I google "Lomachenko agrees rehydration clause" except for a series of articles saying he is rejecting the clause.

Either way we still need to remember this was Hyde negotiating not Rigondeaux.

Thanks. I was sure he had eventually agreed to it. Even though I don't feel he needs to.

If Rigo wants to fight him, he should fight him at the full weight. A lot of fans in here defending catchweight and rehydration clauses all of a sudden.

Not according to Klimas who said he spoke to Lomachenko about the clause and he rejected it.

So the only proof is a video in a hallway of Lomachenko being interviewed?

No press releases that Rigo or Hyde could have replied to?

                Seems sketchy to me

And I say it again, the one negotiating this fight was Gary Hyde, not Rigondeaux. Hyde was not in contact with Rigondeaux. All the articles and press releases from these negotiations are Hydes words

                  Whats the rehydration clause?

Depending on what that is it doesn't seem like an awful offer. Rigo is definitely tiny as f#ck. He seems small for a 122lber. This isn't a big money fight, but its a big respect fight for Loma if he wins it so I don't think its an awful idea to make some attempt at discussing details & finding a reasonable outcome for all sides to make the fight happen.

If it isn't agreeable fair enough, but I think its a interesting enough fight that all sides should talk. Behind the scenes doe, not in public, I tend to think most fights with TR involved that don't happen don't happen cuz too much **** has been pushed into the media/public at large & too many people involved get butthurt & start angling towards drama & bs over just making the f#cking fight.

If they make sense then why not?

I dont see why they are such a huge deal.

The guy posted the video. Yeah of course...it's never Rigo's fault.
