All these demands and agreements were with a manager that had pretty much no authority.

Neither guy ducked. They are in different divisions and one was in a huge mess with a manager who he didnt want and a 'promotional team' that seemingly does nothing. Neither fighter was obligated to fight the other one.

It would have been great if it happened, but it was always a long shot.

If we are looking at ducks, how about LSC wanting $3million to fight Rigo, or Quigg being the WBA regular champion for years without ever mentioning Rigondeauxs name or trying to make the fight? Those are ducks. Both were fighting sub par opposition voluntarily while calling themselves World Champions.
Sounds like a bit of a cop-out. People could say Haymon stopped LSC and Hearn stopped Quigg. But the fighters really wanted it doe.

Rigo was asked about it here and he didn't blame Hyde. He is blaming the weight. So he personally never wanted the fight or what?

I don't think he's too small. The problem is many of these fighters are just small minded. Call it like it is. Everyone today wants to preserve their record by fighting cans and making tons of money. No one wants to challenge themselves anymore. They all want greatness bestowed upon them without earning it. Call him all you want, but Ward made the move everyone wanted him to make and that is move up if there is no more competition in your weight class, and that is how you seek greatness.

Rigondeaux is indeed much smaller than Loma. If they were in the same weight class Rigo would fight him in a heartbeat. He has always been ready to face anyone at 122 but everyone ducked him.

Hilarious. So Rigo fans complain that no one wants to fight him and then when someone actually does, they're "begging"?
            Im not a 'Rigo fan'.

Im calling it like I see it.

Loma is doing everything he can to get a smaller fighter into the ring with him. He wont stop talking about it.

Despite him trying to bring up a smaller guy after fighting 3 straight cans, 'Loma fans' wanna complain about the smaller guy asking for a catchweight.

From what I understand, they were both talking about it to each other which is how the whole idea of the fight came about.

Yeah, Rigo, his team and his fans have been talking crap about Loma since his debut and now that Loma finally decided to call him out they don't seem to happy.

People keeping bringing up Walters, but Walters was the one that couldn't make weight. Why does the blame go against Loma? Maybe Walters should have been professional. Why doesn't Walters get any of the blame. He is the one that couldn't make the weight and he's the one get rewarded and getting a pass.
Loma has brought up the idea of moving up to 130 not because he's having trouble making weight, but because he knows that the fights can't happen at 126. He's looking at his options at 126 and if they don't workout then he's moving up.

I see it as the little guy calling out the bigger guy to stay relevant and the bigger guy calling him out on it
