I'm sure everyone read that he paid 800k to GGG for step aside money and now the WBC wants to shake him down for 300k when they lowered it for De La Hoya and Mayweather in the past. I'm not a Cotto fan, but that hardly seems fair. WBC is as shady as any of 'em. They thought they had Cotto in a hard place so he probably thought, "Ok, I've got maybe 2 fights left. I'll keep the 300k for my family." Don't blame the guy.

      Agreed on both counts.

Well.. it was to be an eliminator at best any way. Cotto is a ***** and a diva out of the ring but at least he´s admitting he was never going to fight GGG. DLH and Canelo just mad they didn´t do the same.

Let me get this straight, the same guy that has been in and out of rehab is mad because another fighter refuses to shell out money for a useless belt. Oscar your guy is getting KTFO when he fights Cotto. Then there will be something else for you to mad about. Oscar should just crawl back into that bag of ******* and call it a day. ....

Cotto used Sergio to get the opportunity, e used the title to get the warm up bout, then get the money using Canelo in a "Titled Bout"! The title he held, there hasn't been alot of integrity in boxing at times but Cotto's move lacks pride and honor. If the fees were to heavy for him he could have dropped the belt right after the Sergio win. He didn't he used the belt in a disgraceful way and sours Oscar. I'm not a big fan of Oscar but he's right about this. Cotto yaks alot about pride and coducting himself the right way, ducking out on a fee thats part of the belt he used to his benefit is low classs on his part.

The WBC should have stripped him as soon as a "catchweight" was implicated in a title match. The title has a weight limit and NO fighter should ever be able to "alter" a weight limit in a title match.
Not much pride in the "current crop" of "businessman" in boxing!

Oscar is ao full of **** you can smell it through his fishnets. He and Canelo both have come out and basically said they have no intentions of complying with the WBC's ruling that the winner must fight GGG. Canelo has even said that this fight is taking place at 155 because Cotto wanted the belt on the line, and he couldn't care less about the trinket. Now all of a sudden Cotto's a disgrace and Canelo IS outraged. GTFOH

The only thing Oscar likes more than coke, c.ock, and the sound of his own voice. Is folks patting him on the ass telling him how great he is. He let the lil support he's gotten from the verbal sparring session he just had with Floyd go tohis head. Hope he realizes most of those Floyd haters are GGG lovers. And they're gonna turn on him as soon as Nelo doesn't fight GGG next, should he win Sat.

What Cotto did to boxing was reasonable , what Oscar did to boxing was disgraceful .

The WBC was literally trying to lift over a million $ from Cotto in fee's.

This is not on Cotto and furthermore, it truly doesn't even matter. The sanctioning bodies have probably done more harm to boxing than anybody else.
