Hopkins weighed in at a very light 156 to make damn sure he didn't have to pay the huge fine. Hopkins fought very carefully in the early rounds and Oscar might have won a couple of rounds. About round 5 Hopkins got serious and was taking Oscar apart. Then Hopkins landed the liver punch and Oscar went down and couldn't or wouldn't??? get up. Because of different fighting styles the KO artist GGG would walk through Cotto and take him out within one to 5 rounds in my opinion.

So you think it's because of the styles. GGG being a more seek and destroy fighter would be more dangerous to Cotto who is also a seek and destroy fighter.

But Cotto has looked better at the weight, more fit, and stronger.

Oscar actually never had a legit win at MW.

Golovkin's team seems much more reticent to do stuff like that. I don't know that anything they could do would get Cotto in the ring though.

It would obviously be huge for Golovkin's career to actually fight Cotto though, would be the biggest win of his career especially if Cotto beats Canelo.
This too..Hopkins had to do a catchweight that GGG is refusing

Oscar had some balls, Cotto has pink slippers.

GGG destroys opponents, Bernard outpointed them.

I think he will have too as well. Not at 155 which is ridiculous but 157 or 158 would be cool.

And honestly I didn't know Hopkins got heat for the De La Hoya fight. What was the general consensus on his Trnindad win?

yea 155 is ridiculous...but then again his team talks to much and claims he can make 154...but 157 or 158 would be very reasonable
