Hey, we know that Canelo wasn't good enough to beat him, but if Floyd had never fought him, you know full well people would be screaming that Floyd ducked him. Hell, it's happening right now with people saying he ducked GGG.

I could see if Mayweather was the size of Hagler but the size diffrence is insane ..

I also never fed into that ..Canelo still isn't there yet .His problem is not him it's the coaches around him IMO unless we see a different Canelo this weekend ..He has tremendous upside but he needs a guy who can bring it out him .

In the fights he's been in his weaknesses have yet to been adjusted ..

Go old Pavlik when they announced the Hopkins fight I was like oh no it's over for him ..

Hypes jobs is one hell of a trend ..

No disrespect to you, but if you think Floyd took Canelo to school, then you fight like a *****.

you didn't know? Rinse, wash, and repeat.....Mayweather has broke a lot of hearts, had people lose a lot of money, and they shed a lot of tears

Must really suck trying to deny someone they are the best and they've proven time and time again. Dude is just too good for his own era, not his fault.

              • You guys do not know anything about boxing. Just hatred because he did it easy. I like all boxing and all fighters but the hatred towards Floyd is out of hand. what he is saying is the truth about Oscar, like it or not. Floyd did not take banned substances, Manny did! Floyd was approved for an IV by the commission. So that ends that. Oscar says that Canelo was the future but does not show up for his own fighter's fight???? WTF. Did Oscar have a problem with Floyd when Richard was still at GBP? I'll wait!!!!

Golden Boy had co-promoted the majority of Mayweather's fights since 2007 - when De La Hoya and Mayweather traded punches in a fight that generated a record-breaking 2.4 million pay-per-view buys. The record stood until May 2nd of this year, when Mayweather's fight with Manny Pacquiao exploded with 4.6 million buys on pay-per-view.
