Floyd offers to help Ronda in boxing

No she will never be an elite boxer but she can improve that aspect of her game and she is an elite judo artist. No matter who trains Ronda, she will never become an elite boxer, nor would she even be B level. Boxing isnt a sport where you just wake up one day and say, "hey I think Im going to train for a championship." Muscle memory is huge in boxing and the best time to learn muscle memory is pre-puberty. Very very few boxers on the elite level do well taking up boxing at a late age. Rondas best bet is working her takedown while avoiding the strikes, its her only way. Trying to box in her training camp would take away from the time she needs to perfect her grappling.Comment

The best trainer in the world couldn't turn Ronda into a decent boxer. She can train hard and learn boxing skills and proper punching and become a better boxer than she is now. To be a real good boxer a man or a woman has to have some natural talent to build on and she doesn't have much natural boxing talent at all. She has slow hands and little natural punching power.Comment

Ronda's boxing is so awful that I don't even know if Mayweather could help her become even decent.
She has zero technique. There's no extension, core/hip involvement or compactness. She just swings her arms in the general direction with her chin right there.
If anyone can help her, Floyd Mayweather would seem like the person as he is a master of the craft. I just don't think Rousey is good enough to pick it up, or capable of humbling herself to even accept the help.Comment
