Wow...didn't expect that! I was sure Perez had taken the first fight lightly and would win here.

Never expected Crolla to get a knockout. Fair play to him. I have no idea how he's won a world title but pleased for him.

That surely will be the pinnacle of his career.

First off, Perez has got to be the worst lightweight champion since I don't know.. but since a long time. He's not even ranked in the top 10

You could see he got frustrated after round 2, missing and loading up.

And crolla is really good at taking advantage of guys like that, it was the same with Murray, though he just gassed.

Perez could have gotten up from that shot. But he didn't want it and knew he wasn't up for it.

From the arena, I had it 115-112 for Abraham. The point deduction buried Murray.

I thought the cards were a bit harsh on Murray. But he wasn't busy enough when it came down to it. You have to pour it on Abraham when he's having his rests and Murray didn't. Either he was being cautious or he didn't have enough in the tank.

Gutted for Murray, but yeah unfortunately didn't do enough. Can't complain about the point deduction either. Murray should learn to strike, sharp uppercut inside and then smother.

Didn't see Stiegletz on P4P lists after he beat Abraham though...

Abraham was one of Ward's best wins. I remember the California ref helped the Son of Goat in that one by permitting him to head butt and clamp Abraham's arms.
