Define elite. He was a world champion, is that elite?

You're joking? No he wasn't but he'd easily be top 5 today, more likely top 3. He's very underrated by people that don't know what the fu.ck they're talking about.

Yes, what you consider "elite" will decide whether Bruno was!

For me though, no, he was not. Just because he was "world champoin" does not make him an elite level heavyweight.

I wouldn't say he was elite. He was a good fighter though, really underrated.

He would do well in today's HW scene.

Never was elite, just a decent heavyweight during his period, hard to see him beat the likes of bowe or holyfield and we know what happened when he fought tyson and lewis.

Im actually suprised he didnt cross paths with the likes of morrison, mercer or ruddock?

Why did you put world champion in ""? He was world champion. He beat the guy who beat Lennox Lewis.

If I say elite in general, it's the very top of fighters of a certain era. Bruno wasn't.

But at his very best he was a force to be reckoned with. He would have been a very very good heavyweight today.
