The loss of desire will be an even bigger issue.

He's going to lose to anyone w/ a pulse

Pac/Matthyse is the only fight that needs to be made. Two guys coming off Ls, two guys washed up, and two guys who no longer have that drive that have one or the other severely hurt the other.

Putting Pac in with someone trying to reach that next economic ladder of fame is going to guarantee that we see Pac retiring on his stool after the 8th.

        I don't want to see that - I really don't.

The Pac era is over - the sooner we accept it, the quicker we can go back to enjoying all the great fights he's given us in his ATG career

This. The only fight he was inspired for was the 4th fight with JMM and that took a knockdown to bring the dog back out of him.

pac has been completely very much past his prime for a long time now. he will be absolutely shot when he comes back.

but big respect to manny for wanting to step in with a very very good fighter (crawford) for his last fight instead of cherry picking the worst competition ever (e.g. berto). this shows how much of a legend and hero manny is. he will be greatly missed.

Nonsense. He was motivated for the Bradley rematch and the Mayweather bout.

People are making it sound like Floyd killed manny's motivation

I disagree. His love for the sport and fire is gone. I'm not saying he didn't train hard, but he has seemed distracted (or disinterested) from boxing for awhile now
