                        So many ignorant people like you today.

                        Holm started out as a professional kickboxer well before she was boxer. She trained her entire professional boxing career out of an mma/boxing gym under one of mma's most elite striking coaches. She's been incorporating mma into her boxing training part time for longer than Rousey's been in mma.

                        To claim her victory as a victory for boxing over mma is just plain dumb and pathetic. Holm isn't a boxer anymore, she's an mma fighter - last night is what mma fighting is about - using skills from various forms of combat.

                        There are professional boxing title holders right now who lack that kind of footwork and focus, let alone would probably ever learn good enough take-down defense.

                        If you feel compelled for a victory for boxing over mma, hold your breath and lets see how Canelo/Cotto's ppv numbers compare to Rousey/Holm's.
