Canelo hasn't been in with such accomplished fighters as Cotto. True. But he is 25 and still stepping up and developing. But this shouldn't be about Canelo's merits as they are known.

This should be about deciding whether Cotto is revitalized under Roach or whether Cotto's last 3 fights are masking decline. The truth is probably somewhere in the middle.

Cotto did better against Mayweather but he took some punishment in that fight.Cotto has to circle left and right attack Canelo at angles stay off the ropes. Canelo size advantage combination punching is key Cotto has been beat up in the past by fighters that throw combos

I've seen Cotto - Mayweather many times and I still haven't seen the part where Cotto almost got KOed. In the 12th round Cotto got buckled by an uppercut and one second later Cotto was coming forward again still trying to win. To say he almost got knocked out is such an overstatement.
