That footwork/timing and those straight left-hands did the business.

Also, I noticed Holm often followed up her left-hand with a jab, most likely just in case the left-hand missed or didn't land flush. That seemed to enable her to keep control of the distance and prevent Ronda from grabbing her or closing the distance behind a missed punch.

At least it seemed that way, I don't know fk-all about this sport.

She obviously used a great gameplan and I would say that her camp was based around that specifically because she was very well-prepared.
