COMERIO, PUERTO RICO - Kevin Nieves did not disappoint his audience on Saturday night as the star in the card presented in the Municipal Auditorium of Comerio. Fighting at 135 pounds, Nieves scored a knockout in the first minute of the third round over Mikito Soto (now 12-7, 12 KOs) to improve to 9-1-1 and five knockouts in a fight scheduled for a maximum of eight rounds.

Del Valle is one of those guys with plenty skills but was put in tough a little too early. Hopefully he can get back on track. Reminds me a little of the Arroyo twins.
