It sounded like the ref should have wave the fight off as soon as Holly Holm landed that kick to the head that floored Rousey. Allowing her to be punched in the head while laying on the ground and seemingly out cold was unnecessary.

She was doing no such thing. I've spent enough time in the boxing gym and on the BJJ/Judo mats to pull rank on your fanboy ass. If Rhonda was pursuing a TD, she could have gotten it on Holm. I'm a huge Holm fan and have seen all of her recorded MMA fight and she is marginal at grappling. Rhonda was lunging, desperate to strike, which she shouldn't have been doing. I never seen a woman get knocked out like a man before brutally like that. Holm looks pretty masculine.. Roided up but the fact of the matter is that she still would had won by how much more advanced technically she was compared to Rhonda. She was looking like Mayweather in there with the footwork and straight lefts down the pipe.
