You can tell near the end of the fight that Ronda was trying desperately to close the distance to utilize her judo but Holly kept away and punished her every time she plodded forward. WAR Holly

She stuffed her the only time she could get within reach of her. After I saw that I knew it was a matter of time it would be lights out barring some miracle blow. In retrospect this win isn't that much of shocker if you knew what style of fight Rousey was going to fight. I would say Douglas still tops this win as Tyson even off was still viewed as the more skilled boxer.

MMA now has to respect boxing. It is as deadly a martial art as any other. And any boxer could win in an MMA fight just as easily as Holm did tonight. It's about the people. Fighting the James Toney's of the world proves nothing. Learn your lesson.

Why would you box a boxer? I mean that is just the dumbest thing you can possibly do in an MMA fight. You're a ****ing judo artist. Grab her, toss her, and put her to sleep. Ronda Rousey is a joke, and a c*nt. That was fun. I jumped up from my couch when the Preacher's Daughter put her to sleep.

Well, Rhonda didn't have much of a choice. Judo requires one to close the gap and fight inside. Holm did everything possible to keep her distance, move laterally, and force Rhonda to give chase. Rhonda couldn't grapple, throw, and toss Holm if she can't get to her. It isn't that easy.

It was a perfect strategy.

That skill level was too great. It wasn't an off night like Lennox had and got caught.

The different between these two fighters tonight is simply a case of being in a different class.

I can't see any other outcome if they fought again.

Rhonda is every bit as skilled, but styles make fights. Holm had the right style (moving boxer), and a great strategy.

Tyson v. Douglas was a bigger upset, because a focused Mike was well suited to almost any style. New corner, meds, hungover, going through divorce, etc., all led to his defeat.

Holm just had the perfect style and gameplan for Rousey. Fit, focused, or otherwise.

Right now the two WMMA champs in the UFC are both excellent strikers. Joanna with her kickboxing background and Holm with her boxing+kickboxing. It was only a matter of time that Ronda would face a good striker and get owned.

That was one of the most embarrassing fight's I've ever seen. I mean, she got totally out classed and decimated. Especially the part when Holm slipped the hook and Rousey fell like a cartoon.. lol..WAR HOLM!!!!!
