The deal was finalized for Rigo just this week. The PPV is next weekend, it's hard to get an opponent on such short notice.
Excuses. Didn't they knock of the Cabllero fight for this crap fight? This guy is in the top 10 pound for pound list and has fought nothing but sub par opposition in the last two years, yet everyone gushes over him and down talk Loma, GGG and Roman for fighting similar level of opposition. A week notice or not, it's still a crap fight not worhy of a slot on the main PPV card, especially not above the Randy scrap.
Cool, if you're fine with double standards as long as its for a fighter you support, then thats on you.
No, I'm for equal treatment I never said this was anything more than a live tune up after a year lay off and nobody else is either I don't think.
What I'm saying is if Rigondeaux performs and destroys the dude like he should we should be seeing the same reactions we do when GGG knocks out his tune ups. Now if Rigondeaux's next 5 fights where nothing but tune ups Id be the first one to be annoyed at that ****.

Get him off the PPV then, Golovkin shouldn't have been headlining a PPV either. The buyrate numbers would also agree.
