Comments Thread For: Live Fight Results From Bristol: Young Fury Wins

Bristol, England – Heavyweight prospect Young Fury moved to (6-1, 3 KOs) with a four round points decision over Lithuania’s Imantas Davidaitis tonight in Bristol.

Fury, 19, and younger brother to Tyson was awarded a 39-37 verdict after just doing enough to defeat his 6ft 8 ½ ins opponent. Fury, using a low stance, looked to double up on the jab to head or body throughout before aiming looping overhand rights which produced occasional success.

    Young Fury looks terrible.

Glad Hughie is on the card tonight. Its a risk, it being so close to his next bout, but hopefully we'll see some new facets to his game.

What channel is broadcasting the Hughie fight?

EDIT: I guess I'm too late. The fight is over Hughie KO2

Good scrap. Nick isn't cutting off the ring. Amsel should have stood in range a few times, where he landed and moved instead of landing twice. Nice to see a guy dance all night without running.

he didnt look that good, he's not going to go far, sucks for mick henessy. blackwell, needed uppercuts or somthing up the middle to the body. He couldnt hurt a guy who's not supposed to be on the same level. Not good still entertaining fight though.

Fantastic nights entertainment. Andrew Selby should really be looking to fight abroad once in a while, if he's training their!

Peter Fury is finally figuring out the Wilder/ Joshua model: that getting your lad a lot of rounds might make him a better boxer, but it doesn't generate the same hype as knocking out tomato cans in the first round or two.
