Any fight where someone was seriously injured or died. Perez vs abdusalamov comes to mind cuz there really should have been a better outcome. His corner or the ref should have stopped it sooner and he shouldn't have had to catch a taxi to the hospital.

-Roy Jones Jr vs Montell Griffin I: Roy wins by KO

Roy would've been 35-0 as he continued on his run (having already won world titles at 160/168/175). Roy would unify the titles at 175, hopefully still have the chance at a heavyweight title, and then not felt the desire to boil his body down 20lbs in 8 months.

Pit stop at cruiserweight (where he'd likely get a chance to fight for a world title) before even considering coming back down to 175, likely going on a break in 2004/2005 at the age of 35.

Roy would've likely have been 50-0/49-1, with world titles at 160/168/175/200 and heavyweight and held his status as the sport's best fighter.

he would've save himself 4 KO defeats, with the boxing public still able to look fondly on Roy's run.

Referee should have stopped Abdusalamov-Perez long before the end.

Same with Griffith-Paret. There were 25 unanswered punches with Paret out on his feet, the ropes were holding him up during the last ten or twelve punches.

Ref should have stopped Benn from rabbit punching and head butting McClellan, and the ref should have stopped Williams from rabbit punching Colon.

Some boxers won't quit, and need to be saved by the ref.

Beat me to it. I wouldn't want to change any fair outcomes but that fight was ended too soon considering how important it was. I'm unconvinced that Lennox won that. Would be great to know what would have happened.

Save the paragraph long responses, because I don't care.
