Not if he's getting hit by a big puncher with the kind of shots he was hit with last bout. It'll be interesting though once he moves up. Dude is enormous but he's Rican so he already has a built in fanbase so he's got that going and a fan friendly type of style.

My money on "stars" goes with Canelo, Chocolatito (theyre trying at least.), if GGG keeps demolishing everyone he'll be there, Terrence Crawford, and by default if he somehow keeps it up Deontay Wilder. if by some fluke of nature he somehow doesnt lose and either avoids or beats (lmao) Wlad it would probably be massive for american boxing...he's also got a possible up and coming contender to make it extremely interesting in Joshua (another potential star from a great boxing country) if everything somehow fell into place.

There are others who are supremely talented but they don't have all the "pre reqs" that seems to matter. Loma is great and has a little mean streak in him but unfortunately for him he doesnt speak english or spanish but fortunately he does have unreal skill and plenty of competition to be a "star" type player in his divisions.

He's learning, there's a video up with Seckbach where he speaks a little - give him a few more years and he will be speaking it fine.

Here is how I look at it. Every era will have PFP and ATG fighters. Right now amateurs and pros that are not known will become tomorrows champions, tomorrows stars, and tomorrows greats. But this also means that right now, there are pros with just a few fights or a dozen or more fights who will not only become champs but go on the become greats. I see no reason why Verdejo and others cannot reach those heights, after all, someone will, someone has to!
