Fact: Floyd Mayweather has never fought anyone where he was an underdog. Never. He WAS EXPECTED to beat them. Sure, some of his opponents have been very dangerous (Corrales) but still, he has never ever fought a man who was a favourite against him. Forget that, he never even fought someone at 1:1 odds.

Ali fought Liston, Frazier, and Foreman against whom he was an underdog, and beat them. That's what makes Ali great.

Mayweather could have beaten all of them, but that's besides the point.

The fact is that Mayweather has never ever fought a man "better" than him on "paper", "betting odds", or "reality".
Who was better than him on paper in your opinion? Are you willing to concede you could be wrong?

Mayweather hasn't really challenged himself. Corrales was the only fight where he was a slight favourite, but that's about it. That's the only fight in his pro career in which he was a slight favourite.

There were and are fights which could have been and/ or could be fights where Mayweather is an underdog. For example, Mayweather-Golovkin at 160.

Mayweather can beat GGG at 160. But will he challenge himself?
He went to 157 not 160. Didn't you know this?

When you have a habit off emerging victorious, being the favourite comes with the territory.

How you can complain now is hypocritical. You felt there were several boxers better than him. He proved you wrong. That you can't accept it says alot about you.
Everyone Pac fights he is favoured to beat as well. He would be favoured against JMM even though JMM just knocked him out. Pac would be favoured against everyone Floyd fights and he is smaller. But Pac took risks and fought DLH and just greater fighters than Floyd in general in Barrera and Morales. There is no big deal being favourite. Jeff Lacy was favourite against Calzaghe, so what?

Floyd don't take risks to put him alongside Duran, SRL and countless other boxers of the last 100 years. Yes, Floyd was favourite against JMM? So what he bloated him up 2 divisions and so would Duran be favourite against JMM and old SSm and DLH and Canelo as well.
Take a risk Floyd and fight GGG at 160 already. Not next year, not next month not tommorw.......already.

This is stupid. In no weight class, at the time he fought in the weight class, was there ever another fighter who would have been favored to beat him. Name the fighter, in his weight class that would have been the favorite and I'll make you look like an idiot.

You don't get to be underdog for two reasons:
                      A. You dont fight someone who really has a chance of beating you
                      B. You're too good. Both on paper and on tv.
And for floyd i think its more of the latter than the former. Do you think if floyd fought manny in 2009 instead of 2015 he would be underdog against him? I dont think so.
If floyd jumped 2 divisions for a ggg fight he would be the underdog considering ggg's advantages? I still dont think so. Floyd would have to move up to 168 before he becomes the underdog. All haters just wanted to him to fight someone who has a chance against him during a certain time ( and he fought most of them) but it doesnt mean he wont be the favorite against them. Being an underdog is a great song to be sung and would make an excellent story but its not the case in measuring floyd's greatness.
