I do. Because his skills are better in my opinion. I think Durant is better than Kobe too, even though he hasn't accomplished as much.

P4P aren't resume based, that's the only real answer. It normally is highly considered and is a big factor, but not always the most important thing. It's subjective, it literally is "who you think are the best fighters if they were all the same size".

That's what I got told today....
By who? That's not really a common belief here.

P4P lists are not a judgement of accomplishments. RJJ and BHop are NOT #1 and #2 on it. It's a very hypothetical judgement of a fighter's skill at this point in time.

One of the reasons Wlad doesn't get as much respect is because his resume got impressive when he got older. People still try to dock him points because "HW is weak". It's not that weak, he's just been that dominant for that long. He's almost 40 now. Very rarely are you gonna be considered a top fighter at that age.

IMO Kovalev should be ranked higher than GGG, but it's not that far apart. Take a look at it objectively:
-GGG fought 3 world champs, Kov 4.
-GGG has more KO wins than Crusher, although theyre very close.
-Kov has fought better opposition.. although 'better' basically means a 50 year old legend. Golovkin may fight a 38 year old, much lesser legend (Froch), and he's getting a LOT more crap for it than Kov got for Hopkins.
-Kov has got gotten KD'd before. Golovkin has not.
-Kov has lost more rounds than Golovkin.

As a summary, Kov has a better resume, Golovkin has won in a more dominant fashion.

People consider Dirk a hater because he calls all of GGG opponents bums and oretends to think GGG is ducking Lara just to have an arguement.

He also doesn't nitpick Degales resume which is way worst than GGG's.

And he supposedly doesn't like GGG but you'll find him trolling every single GGG thread 20 hours a day.

So either you think he's a hater or he's mentally at a disadvantage.

Fighting in that weak division he is in, he better be winning in a more dominant fashion than what Kovalev did against the tougher Pascal, Hopkins, Cleverly. Rubio, Geale, Stevens, Lemiuex are completely different levels than what is available at 168-175. A lower level.

durant is better now because kobe is a old man. Durant has never dominated a game on both ends like kobe used to do back when he had the baby fro.

The P4P rankings are like the defnintion of beautiful. It is all subjective. People who DKSAB will rank Golovkin in the top three P4P. People who actually do know something about boxing won't even put him in the top 10.
