Fair point, I was just surprised at the figures - for both sides tbh.

Prior to Mayweather, Manny's PPV figures had fallen and his showing in his last fight didn't make me think he'd get that sort of guarantee.

If true I'm a little surprised by the catchweight. I mean, if it was versus Crawford I could have defended it but this is a clear power play. I don't think Khan will have trouble making the weight and don't imagine that he will be drained, but it is still a weak move for Pacquiao to make this request of another 147lber in a fight that may very well be for one of Mayweather's belts. (This is all based on the reasonable assumption that the weight was per Team Pac's request.)

yea if its for a belt i'll be disappointed. If its not, i dont particularly mind a cw....but for two 147lbs it seems kinda silly on pacs part.

Khan said no catchweights under 147 and I think he is making a big mistake if he goes back on his word. He's a full fledged welter now those 2 lbs would hurt.

If they're going to guarantee Pacquiao that much money TR is going to lose a lot of money. Manny is no longer a PPV star, people know he's way past his prime.
