Hey Freddie, didn't you also predict that Manny was going to knock Floyd out. You're like a broken record.Comment

How many fighters look better than ever at the end of their careers and have had as many wars as Cotto?

Cotto, like Canelo, is an elite athlete. To denigrate his achievements by casually suggesting PED abuse -- without any direct or circumstantial evidence to support the claim -- is disrepectful and cheap.Comment

Or, as others have pointed out, maybe his power is not really different. Perhaps he's just sitting down on his punches a bit more than he was doing between 2009-12 (i.e, after Margarito I through Trout). For a devoted student of the sport like Cotto -- a person who is extremely receptive to Roach's guidance -- little adjustments can make a big difference.

Well he refused advanced drug testing for his upcoming fight. Why would he? Whats the trouble? If fighters refuse to participate in drug testing it only means they have something to hide. You can't just sweep it under the rug, as much as Cotto fans want to. It is a fact Cotto refused drug testing for the biggest fight of his later career.
I'm not suggesting that anyone sweep anything under the rug. But it's cheap when fans accuse elite athletes of PEDs armed with little more than a strong opinion to support the claim.Comment

[QUOTE=Bardock;16224006]As far as I know there was no drug testing, the WBC have made new rules for championship fights where there has to be VADA testing. The rules don't go into effect until February. VADA reached out to the WBC and team Cotto for drug testing and he refused. Where theres smoke theres fire right?
Pretty sure they agreed to USADA testing...which, as I've already said and is well documented, is far less intrusive than VADA testing. In any event, it's important to have all the facts before making otherwise slanderous allegations. Sometimes, where there is smoke, there is just some idle kid playing with matches.Comment
