Yes and you keep being in denial..guess we are even then.

Even then I'd take the boxer to land whatever the **** he wanted on Ronda Rousey way before she could do anything. It's utterly absurd to think she could do anything to a world class boxer besides get knocked out.
He'd land everything he wanted you say, well lets hope some boxer decides to take her up on her offer and let's see how well that plays out for them. As I said soon as she gets her hands on you, it's a wrap. You have your opinion and I have mine.

        • Come to your senses people. Rousey would get mauled like a child against any halfway competent male fighter who truly doesn't give a damn about hitting a woman.

One year isn't going to do shhh but be a wasted year against someone trained most of their life in a style of combat much like Ronda couldn't take up boxing and in a year kick floyd's @ss. Street fight my money in on Ronda, all of it.
Strong as is your belief that MMA star RR can beat Floyd Mayweather ( and any other non MMA fighting male), I believe the exact opposite. And until evidence is presented of RR beating Floyd Mayweather, I can only laugh at the thought that anybody could believe that Rousey's success in the cage against at best second tier female challengers in any way proves that she can beat Floyd Mayweather. Video evidence in fact serves to prove that RR cannot even wrestle successfully with a 16 year old boy. You claim that RR was taking it easy on the kid, but in every other video featuring RR training, she is all business and not playing around, yet try as she might against this 16 year old, she was clearly dominated. I am not saying that women competing with men in some sport where strength is not a crucial factor cannot win against men. Competitive shooting is such a sport, and women excel at it. Shirley Muldowney, The First Lady of Drag Racing, provides another example. In neither of these sports is strength any where near as important as it is in combat sports. And as I was taught decades ago, if all other factors are equal, the stronger competitor wins. And that applies to man fighting man as well as it does woman vs woman, or if the law would even allow it, woman vs man. I honestly don't believe that RR could even fight and beat a strong and fit male senior citizen who grew up active in sports and engaged in some form of a martial art (boxing, wrestling, judo, karate, or jiu jitsu for a length of time). Now if Rousey's opponent were a feeble, non-athletic male lacking combat experience, then I see no reason why she should not be favored to win the fight. But unless strength can be eliminated from the equation, I cannot see how RR can possible defeat a man who has had an athletic lifestyle and experience in some form of combat sport.

So if you don't swallow the hype whole and believe rousey is a super human phenom who can beat up every man in the world who isn't an elite pro mma fighter, then you are sexist. Got it...thanks.

Wtf is with you guys and the term "HYPE"? Seriously? That seems to be the catchphrase of 2015 around here. Who said hype? Who said super human? I spoke strictly of training at a combat sport. I had my opinion and didn't engage anyone else on theirs, they engaged me on mine. I've given my explanation, I think that is all i'm optionally required to do. It's just amazing how many dudes in here don't think a properly trained woman could wreck men even bigger than her. Absolutely amazing actually but somehow not the least bit surprising considering where this conversation is taking place.

De La Hoya's promotional company, Golden Boy Promotions, owns the publication. Mayweather felt the magazine's maneuver made the sport of "boxing look bad."

Oscar should focus on his fighter instead of continuing to obsess over Mayweather. Better yet, he should focus on finding new talent because on Nov. 21, the fighter that Oscar has invested all of his money and emotions in will be exposed and will become obsolete.
