Even then I'd take the boxer to land whatever the **** he wanted on Ronda Rousey way before she could do anything. It's utterly absurd to think she could do anything to a world class boxer besides get knocked out.

Street fight my money in on Ronda, all of it.

Originally posted by Mr.Daddy View PostStrong as is your belief that MMA star RR can beat Floyd Mayweather ( and any other non MMA fighting male), I believe the exact opposite. And until evidence is presented of RR beating Floyd Mayweather, I can only laugh at the thought that anybody could believe that Rousey's success in the cage against at best second tier female challengers in any way proves that she can beat Floyd Mayweather. Video evidence in fact serves to prove that RR cannot even wrestle successfully with a 16 year old boy. You claim that RR was taking it easy on the kid, but in every other video featuring RR training, she is all business and not playing around, yet try as she might against this 16 year old, she was clearly dominated. I am not saying that women competing with men in some sport where strength is not a crucial factor cannot win against men. Competitive shooting is such a sport, and women excel at it. Shirley Muldowney, The First Lady of Drag Racing, provides another example. In neither of these sports is strength any where near as important as it is in combat sports. And as I was taught decades ago, if all other factors are equal, the stronger competitor wins. And that applies to man fighting man as well as it does woman vs woman, or if the law would even allow it, woman vs man. I honestly don't believe that RR could even fight and beat a strong and fit male senior citizen who grew up active in sports and engaged in some form of a martial art (boxing, wrestling, judo, karate, or jiu jitsu for a length of time). Now if Rousey's opponent were a feeble, non-athletic male lacking combat experience, then I see no reason why she should not be favored to win the fight. But unless strength can be eliminated from the equation, I cannot see how RR can possible defeat a man who has had an athletic lifestyle and experience in some form of combat sport.
