I'm not a big fan of mma but can recognise its real & complete. Their best boxer gets owned by equivalent pro boxer. Their best "striker" gets annihilation in muay.
I used to think when I first watched the sport that all it would take when they go for the take down is well placed knee or khao loi(jumping knee)
But those guys have some engine, are strong as *** & I underestimated the wrestling, bjj.
You'd need to know how to avoid a takedown. Don't even know it you'd have a free limb to go street and thumb the eye or rip the ear. It's a real sport & is constantly improving
