Ward rejected a fight with Froch earlier this year.

No, Froch rejected it unless it was in one specific city (Nottingham). Ward was even willing to go to the UK, but Froch was scared. He ducked Ward so bad the WBA stripped him and he retired in shame.

Was there an offer made? Just seemed like posturing, neither guy were in a rush to make it happen. Froch didn't want the fight unless it was in Nottingham where he believes his punchers chance increases while Ward probably wanted a less dangerous opponent for his comeback fight.

Golovkin's probably aiming to fight the winner of canelo/cotto around May (assuming he wins and they do fight him), and then probably lee/saunders late fall.

Not sure where Froch could fit in--- unless Cotto/Canelo duck him until he fights Froch (and maybe wins).

I'd like to see both fights though I don't think either happens next year (if at all).
