FFS, what does it matter? If you ask two professional drivers to go 40mph, is the guy who goes 45 a better driver?? Sparring is held back. It's not a measure of your ability, it's practice/development. They're trying to NOT hurt each other.

Canelo was a 20 year old kid. As far as gym stories go, I'm more impressed with Golovkin dropping Kovalev with a body shot and the Angulo sparring. El Perro was at his peak and trying to take Golovkin's head off.
