Sitting around waiting on Kovalev to throw is a bad proposition for most dudes at 175, and that was pretty much what Pascal did while not being sound defensively. Kovalev is too big and long to just sit around and wait because like 9 times out of 10 his shot will land first. On top of that he is a big puncher.

That is exactly what I was thinking the whole time. Kovalev is too precise and too powerful to sit and wait like Pascal was doing. Even if your goal is to land something big on Kov, waiting and loading up on only one shot isn't the way to do it
