PROVIDENCE - Undefeated super welterweight contender Demetrius "Boo Boo" Andrade (22-0, 15 KOs) is ready to participate in the proposed World Boxing Council (WBC) 154-pound division tournament to determine its successor for retired Floyd Mayweather, Jr.

A 2008 U.S. Olympian and 2007 AIBA World Championships gold medalist, Andrade is also a former World Boxing Organization (WBO) super welterweight champion, who was stripped of his title earlier this year due to inactivity. [Click Here To Read More]

Andrade is the biggest talent at 154 along with Castano and JRock

And then watch him pull out because he "isn't getting paid enough... "

I'd like to see the loser of Cotto vs. Canelo in this 154 tournament.

Wow, the WBC bumped Andrade up to #3? If it's a 4-man tourney I'm not too thrilled. Charlo & Andrade already coasted by Matirosyn in boring fights. And John Jackson is over his head. J-Rock & Trout need to be in this over those two.

                1 .- Jermell Charlo (US)
                2 .- John Jackson (****** Islands)
                3 .- Demetrius Andrade (US)
                4 .- Vanes Martirosyan (Armenia)
                5 .- Austin Trout (US)
6 .- Anthony Mundine (Australia) SILVER
7 .- Julian Williams (US) AMERICA
                8 .- Sergey Rabchenko (Belarussia)
                9 .- Jorge Cota (Mexico)
                10 .- Ishe Smith (US)
                11 .- Joshua Clottey (Ghana)
12 .- Cedric Vitu (France) EBU
                13 .- Willie Nelson (US)
14 .- Matthew Macklin (GB) INTL
                15 .- Charles Hatley (US)

Jackson/Vanes, JRock/Trout, Andrade/Lara are the match-ups I want. However, it seems logical for Jackson's next bout to be Cota because they fought on the same card. Maybe Vanes/Trout, a match-up that still hasn't been made.
