What is Roc Nation doing? They look so amateurish. Golden Boy the other promoter for Canelo vs Cotto has had a slew of undercard fights signed and wrapped up months ago. Meanwhile we still don't know what the full PPV undercard will be with a week to go because the contract said Roc Nation gets 1 undercard fight. The smart thing is to just rip up that contract or amend it and slide one of the other non televised fights that Golden Boy has to the PPV. Like the Caballero championship fight. Instead Roc Nation has such a thin roster and no clue what they doing so they first tried to cram a Ward mismatch onto the PPV last minute. And that failed. And now they trying to get Rigo on the undercard 1 week before the fight? What shape will he be in and what no named bum can you pull off the streets in 1 week? It's a joke.

If Roc Nation don't have the fighters to put a good undercard fight or know what the hell they are doing then just give that slot to Golden Boy. I have no problem with them signing Rigo but why does he need to be on this undercard? I much rather see a competitive real fight. Something Roc Nation has had months to find and failed. I am not impressed with Roc Nation at all they really screwed Ward over this is a lost year for him. They couldn't get him any real fights or keep him active so he fought once on BET in a fight damn near nobody saw. Cotto is basically promoting himself everyone knows he has done all the heavy lifting. Who the hell else does Roc Nation have and what other fights have they put on all year besides Cotto?

My assumption is he's been training. Believe there was talk of him fighting give or take a week or two from this date for a month or two already. The opponent is a legit concern. This is Vegas & they've already killed a Andre Ward fight & Zab Judah whole card over not approving late opponents so it wouldn't shock me if RN runs into the same problem here.

The got a few younger guys. Dusty Harrison was the first person they signed iirc. They just picked up former TMT member Luis Arias. And I believe they've done a couple FoxSports 1 shows with Harrison headlining iirc.

Me too. If it does, I doubt it will be a notable opponent, but i'd just like to see him fight at this point. And it would be awesome to see him in the same card as Cotto vs Canelo, would be a good night/morning for me (damn time differences...) with some boxing and rum. Or tortillas.

Fight won't happen. Rigo is almost finished . What a shame , his career is almost finished. Caribe and himself have created his own tragedy.
Maybe next year , rigo won't fight soon .
