He used his assets to be the best he could be and that was better than anyone else in the last 20 years could produce. He fought everyone in our generation that he had to and won them all. Yeah we all wish he fought more exciting, a lot of you just wish someone could beat him but no one could. And as anticlimatic as his retirement was he brought a ton of attention and money to the sport, including Oscar's pockets for that matter. And the only reason Oscar wouldn't be able to get Floyds name out of his mouth even tho Floyd doesn't even think about him is precisely because he is salty, its just a fact. He needs to move the **** on and stop hating so strongly cuz its making him look like a clingy *****
It wasn't controversial? Then why did Floyd's own father immediately after say he thought Oscar won the fight? There were rematch talks but Floyd didn't want it. I agree. Floyd did the best performance he could muster with Oscar. Floyd did not show the best performance against Oscar. He arguably only really hurt him once and that was a split second buckle by Oscar when he pushed Floyd against the ropes mid fight. Oscar was far far past his prime facing Floyd. That isn't Floyd's fault. But for the record Mosley for instance showed a much better performance in the rounds they fought. Floyd is perfectly capable of turning it up and being more offensive. But that isn't his temperament which again isn't his fault. He just isn't cut out to be a feared welterweight like Oscar, Duran, Hearns, Leonard, Trinidad and Pacquiao were in their hayday. Of course Oscar is salty, I expect it, Floyd has talked **** for years to the guy who gave him the platform to superstardom. I will say Oscar looks dumb issuing this public letter because he should have done this years ago. Why attack him so harshly now? He always just turned the other cheek. I think he wants to bait Floyd to stay active and maybe prove him wrong by fighting offensively in the hopes he may lose to a future GB fighter. Floyd is too stubborn though and will never accept and take in criticism. That being said Oscar knows there is a lot if **** going through Floyd's mind now that his career is essentially said and done. We don't know what is happening but I feel like Floyd may grow to regret the conservative boxing strategy he imployed in his super star career. He's now seeing all these fighters Broner and others of his ilk essentially becoming the product of his influence. If there is anyone who is great at reinventing themselves its Floyd

      155 remember.

And will Oscar have Canelo wait GGG out, past his prime. Or does losing not matter to Canelo too.

Canelo must now live up to this and fight GGG.

      He's like thanks Oscar.
Canelo has nothing to prove. He already fought Lara when he didnt have to.

My suggestion to him is to focus on the things that he can control. Focus on what you gotta do to promote your kid. Focus on what you gotta do to help your fighter win his fight. For his own fighter's sake, hopefully this time he makes it to the fight. He's already missed the biggest fight [Mayweather vs. Canelo] of his fighter's career. Floyd boxed circles around him. His guy came in outweighing Floyd by 20 pounds and Floyd boxed circles around him, but now he's talking about he was too young? He just sounds silly because he's the one that put him in there. If he was too young, then why'd you put in him in there? He's only insulting his own fighter. He wasn't too young to collect the biggest purse that he's made to date. Honestly, he can't even really comment on the Floyd-Canelo fight because he wasn't there. It was supposed to be his guy's brightest moment and yet he wasn't there. From the sounds of these rants he's been having lately, hopefully he hasn't had some type of setback.

If you go to Nasdaq.com you will see a video of Oscar and I think it's the guy who is head of the boxing promotion for RocNation. Oscar explains why he put Ronda Rousey on the cover of Ring. Then is asked about Mayweather. He says that he thinks Money May isn't retired and that he will fight a couple of more times.

At first I thought Oscar did write this letter but I'm starting to come around that someone else wrote. Someone probably asked him what he thought about Money May retiring. He probably answered and someone wrote a whole letter to ****e it up to sell it and ran with it.
