  • Comments Thread For: Bob Arum Outlines Vasyl Lomachenko's Hit List

This past weekend at the Thomas and Mack Center in Las Vegas, two-time Olympic gold medal winner Vasyl Lomachenko (5-1, 3KOs) had no problems in defending his WBO featherweight title by halting the overmatched Romulo Koasicha in ten rounds.

So where does the talented Lomachenko go from here?

Rigo, Donaire, Salido II, Walters would make a solid resume.

If these fights happen next year Loma will have one of the deepest resumes in boxing by his 10th fight

i'm glad that he's still optimistic about getting the rigondeaux fight made. i think it's almost certain that donaire is next though

I doubt that all comes off, but it'd be interesting & fun if it did. Mainly I'm just hoping Loma vs Rigo is next like they seem to be suggesting.

don't think that the rigo fight will get done, caribe will find a way to screw it up, that is counting on arum really wanting that fight, salido fight won't get made either, even if he beats rocky, they'll find another excuse or another tomato can to fight, gamboa fight will never be made, gamboa screwed arum so he is never gonna get this fight, as to walter i think they'll wait at 126 till walter goes to 135 and they they'll move loma to 130 and keep on talking about the walter is too big thing. It's a shame because there is a lot of good fights to be made around those weight classes for loma, but arum doesn't wanna risk another salido fiasco.

That would be great if those fights came off. Really great.
Probably a bit of a reach though.

You obviously can't believe everything Arum says so take it with a grain of salt....but it sounds like he's legitimately trying to get the Rigondeaux fight made.

It would be great to see that come about.

I thought Walters didn't have a belt??? Wasn't that the excuse?

Also, walters is moving up in weight & is fighting jason sosa at Super Featherweight.

So does that mean that Walters would have to go back down in weight or is loma gonna move up?

Arum wants Loma to punish Rigondeaux, Rigo is smaller and it would be a toss up but Loma's size could pose a serious problem for Rigo if they fight
