its not a duck if Ward is at 168 - at that's his weight class. but if he's a light heavyweight and one of the top lb 4 lb fighters in the sport - the f***in fight the top guys. its a simple concept.
There are a lot of problems with the way UFC runs its business and treats its fighters. but, the one thing they have right is that they constantly have the top guys fighting the top guys. they dont "build" fights for years - they make the best fights they can each and every year

Gonna sit back and get some good laughs from ggg fans when they compare the cans Ward has fought and the Murders row of Hall of fame boxers ggg fought.

leave it to someone to bash GGG when he has nothing to do with this conversation. But, since you brought it up, who has GGG not fought at 160 who he should have and legitimately could have (since Quillin and Martionez have/had wanted no part of him at all)?

lol should have known Ward was never gonna fight Kovalev. Dude is shook.

Notice that despite supposedly being contractually set up for that fight, he seems not 100% sure the fight will ever take place. I have serious doubts that the contract actually says anything about Kovalev, just something Wardturds have decided must be true.

He'll probably bring up the name Kov before every Alexander Brand / Paul Smith tier fight for as long as Roc Nation will pay him $2M to fight. Only when absolutely necessary will we hear any serious possibility of that fight taking place.

GGG fights 3-4 times per year. with 2-3 against guys, that although very limited, were ranked with the top 5-7 in the weight class - like Lemeiux, Geale, macklin, Murray, Stevens.

I'll ask again? unlike What Ward is now saying he plans to do. who has GGG not fought who he should have/could have. GGG only says that I want to fight all the champions and the best at 160. meanwhile, Ward moves to 175 and says - whats the rush? why should I fight Kovalev anytime soon?
NOTICE A DIFFERENCE IN THE OUTLOOK?

Yeah agreed. I couldn't really be upset about him not fighting Kovalev if he was at least doing something in the mean time.
