Since AJ turned pro, he's been billed as the next great heavyweight hope & potential champion. And he very well might be, however, in his first fight - which was beyond cringe - he was billed as "the next people's champion".
I mean, first off, you don't really build yourself like that in my opinion. Secondly, he's not a people's champ kind of person.
He's extremely talented obviously, big and strong and very skillful, but he's also very arrogant and doesn't really come across as the sort of guy next door.
In my opinion, since Dillian Whyte came back, his reputation as being a stone cold thug has changed a lot. He's always smiley, has time for everybody and really comes across the normal 'bloke down the road' kind of guy.
He is also a straight up kind of person as AJ himself found out in the Klitschko camp a while back, so did Malik Scott and recently Johnny Nelson said on IFL TV that Dillian came over to him and told him they needed to straighten some stuff out - and then they were good.
Since AJs hype got insanely big after 5-6 fights, I've liked him less and less as a person. I like him a lot in the ring, but outside the ring he comes across as big headed and arrogant.
Dillian Whyte is the exact opposite.
Who do you like out of the two? Or who do you hope to win?
Btw, if you haven't seen Dillian Whyte fight yet, go and look at some of his early pro fights. He was pretty scary then.
