So actually GGG is probably the next biggest marketable fight out there for either guy.
canelo can fight his brother on PPV and it cracks 250K easy. little g is NOT a draw!

all that effort they put in force feeding him to casuals, only to pull 97K..pathetic, i guess casuals are not as dumb as we thought.

i remember the golovtards celebrating his apple commercial like woooo hes a star now LMAO!

lemeiux was the attraction in that fight.

boxing is a BUSINESS! ! golovkin is high risk crap reward. thats the excuse they used to dismiss ward and guess what, the golovtards loved it!!

But people are starting to know GGG, even if they weren't willing to put their hands in their pockets for a PPV right now.

But put him against Canelo and i'll bet it'll do better numbers than Canelo will do against anybody else, aside from Cotto.

It's marketable, even if GGG has no history of good PPV numbers, all it takes is the right fight to capture peoples imagination and this is one.

Wonder what kind of PPV numbers Geale, Trout, and Rodriguez pulled in to get their fights with Cotto?

If you scared, just say you scared.

The fight was at 155. Get your facts straight before you call people idiots,or you might look like one yourself.

It will have been 16 months since James Kirkland entered a prizefight by the time he faces Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez in the ring on May 9 in Houston, Texas. The two

Sounds like an excuse to me not to fight GGG. If Cotto is on a card it will do decent numbers, doesn't matter who he fights. We all know it's not going to do 2 or 3 million, but it does respectable numbers. He's the most well known Puerto Rican fighter out there today. Any way you cut it, everyone makes profit from the fight. Good PPV numbers, sold out if the fight happens in MSG, stock rises in both fighters, more money for all involved, it's a win.

he would also need to raise his ppv #s for floyd

recommendation - fight ward in a match ppl will actually pay to see - maybe if its good it becomes a sequel or even trilogy ... then you will have ppv power

The problem is that you assume that I think something that I don't. If Team GGG actually said that Ward wasn't a big enough draw, and that's why the fight doesn't happen, then that's ridiculous too and I would have no problem saying so.
