Umar Salamov (13-0, age 21) steps up on Saturday against Doudou Ngumbu (34-6)

Umar Salamov will fight for the WBO European light heavyweight title on Saturday.

He will face the durable Doudou Ngumbu, who fought Andrzej Fonfara last year. Ngumbu has some decent wins (Vyacheslav Uzelkov, Aleksy Kuziemski, Johnny Muller) on his resume.

YES! The return of DOO DOO! He deserves another shot after putting up a good effort against Fonfara.

Usyk announced that he will be fighting Pedro Rodriguez on December 12th.
Better to stay active than wait for the WBO shot or eliminator. Who knows how long that will take. He's still on track to break Holyfield's record.

Salamov-Ngumbu is a competitive matchup, with Salamov being just 21 and having less experience. Ngumbu has won in Ukraine before against Uzelkov and in Poland against Kuziemski.
They're in the sixth round. Not going to lie, I'm not paying attention to the fight.
From the spurts I'm watching it seems like Salamov is winning easily.

Round 6 just ended. I'll watch the rest of the fight.
